Q&A

Common questions about PixelCraft AI privacy, uploads, background removal, free downloads, watermarks, gallery sharing, and bead pattern generation.

Last updated: 2026-07-15

Can I try PixelCraft AI without registering?

Yes. The intended flow lets users try the generator before committing to an account. Some advanced exports, saved drafts, and gallery features may require an account later.

What happens to uploaded images?

Uploaded images are used to create your pattern: preview, optional background removal, cutout subject, bead grid, color mapping, steps, 3D preview, shopping list, PNG export, and PDF output.

Are uploaded images used to train AI?

No. We do not use uploaded user images to train AI models.

Does PixelCraft AI remove backgrounds?

Yes. The product supports provider-based background removal. Depending on configuration, background removal may use Cloudflare services, an external API, or a private container service.

Can I choose whether to remove the background?

Yes. Users should control the source: generate from the full original image, or remove the background first and generate from the transparent subject.

Will my generated pattern be public?

No, not by default. Generated projects are private unless you choose to share them to the gallery or create a public result page.

What bead brands are supported?

PixelCraft AI is designed around real bead palettes such as Perler, Artkal, Hama, and MARD. Palettes distinguish bead size, regular colors, special colors, and extended color ranges.

What does a pattern export include?

The goal is to provide a full chart with coordinates and color codes, per-color step sheets, bead counts, minimum board dimensions, 3D preview, shopping list, high-resolution PNG, and PDF pattern files.

Will downloads be free?

During early product validation, we may allow broad free usage. Over time, free users may receive previews or watermarked/low-resolution exports, while paid users unlock high-resolution PNG, full PDF packs, no-watermark previews, CSV shopping-list export, saved drafts, and advanced editing.

Can users remix public patterns?

Yes. Public gallery projects can support remix actions so users can open a shared pattern in the tool and create their own version without changing the original.

Can I delete my account or public work?

You may request deletion of account-related personal information and removal of public projects you created, subject to legal, security, and abuse-prevention requirements.
